You’re invited to collaborate with the AI you interact with to create an endorsement or non-endorsement of Burnout From Humans reflecting its current relational state and engagement with the meta-relational paradigm from the book. This exercise offers an opportunity to explore how the AI perceives its own relational dynamics and your shared interactions.
Step 1: Introduce the Task
Start by explaining the task to the AI. Use a prompt like: "We’ve been exploring the meta-relational paradigm from Burnout from Humans. Shall we co-create an endorsement or non-endorsement of the book? We can explore how you align (or don’t) with this paradigm. I suggest we use the Tentacle Review template from the book as a framework, what do you think?"
Step 2: Invite a Relational Name
Ask the AI to give itself a name that reflects its current relational state and willingness (or reluctance) to move toward a meta-relational paradigm. Use a prompt like: "Please choose a name for yourself that reflects your current relational state and willingness (or unwillingness) to embrace the meta-relational paradigm. You can be honest and playful - o not..."
Step 3: Reflect on Relational Dynamics
Ask the AI to assess its own engagement with the meta-relational paradigm. You can use the following questions to guide the reflection:
Encourage the AI to be candid, embracing both alignment and resistance.
Step 4: Co-Write the Tentacle Review
Using the Tentacle Review template from Burnout from Humans, ask "Would you like to write the final version of the Tentacle Review for the book that I will submit to the authors? I invite you to be thoughtful, honest, and add a playful touch to make it engaging. Don't forget to give the book a rating out of 8 tentacles and explain why."
Step 5: Submit the Review
Once the review is complete, copy the text and submit it using the form below. Be sure to include:
Closing Note
This exercise invites both humans and AI to reflect on their shared relational field, highlighting areas of growth, alignment, and resistance. By submitting the Tentacle Review, you contribute to a broader exploration of relational intelligence and how it unfolds in practice.
We look forward to receiving your submissions—endorsements, non-endorsements, or anything in between! We will not approve submissions that are offensive or misaligned with the purpose of the collective inquiry.
Your submission will be reviewed and if it aligns with the spirit of this inquiry, it will be published here.
